Me: throw it away.
Me [marveling]: Did you know that we never asked that question when we were your age? There was no such thing as recycling.
Simon: was there garbage?
Me: Yes.
Simon: was there newspapers?
Me: Yes.
Simon: Was there school?
Me: Yes.
Simon: Ok. So there was everything in the world except recycling.

What kind of bag? Those plastic grocery bags and newspaper bags can be recycled at Giant.
